We’re delighted to announce the launch of a new cook book to raise funds for a charity that helps slum children in India.
The cook book was penned by our cook MaryBea Miller, who creates most of our menus, and fans of her cooking will find many of their favourite dishes inside.
Profits from the sale of the book will go to Tender Heart India, a charity that works to improve the lives of slum children in Goa and Karnataka by equipping them with vital skills and resources.
MaryBea said: “I am passionate about feeding people – it makes me happy, so opening the café was opening up so much more in me. In response to the many requests for recipes, I have tried to include in the book many of our most popular dishes.
“We chose to support Tender Heart Foundation because two friends of ours are working for them, and it’s good to know the profits from sales of the book will go to support their work with children and orphans in India.”
