Stoking up the barbeque

The great southern US tradition of barbeque is alive and kicking here at Brynmill Coffee House, and if you haven’t yet sampled our barbeque hot dogs, we urge you to give them a try soon.

They’re usually on the menu on Fridays and Saturdays, and Rick cooks them the proper way, out the back on a charcoal grill, where they are basted with our special barbeque sauce.

We usually serve them with Mary’s gorgeously smoky, sweet/savoury barbeque beans. Also popular with evening visitors is Mary’s lemon ice box pie, which is a staple in barbeque restaurants in the US. Similar to key lime pie, with a crumb base and creamy, tangy filling, it’s going to be on the menu again soon.
